Click on the link below to watch or listen to students describe their experiences of Vipassana meditation. 2016 Open House 25 Anniversary Commemoration Sunday, August 28 Northwest Vipassana Center Onalaska, WA -- -- Northwest Vipassana Center One of over 120 international centers where the technique of Vipassana meditation is taught and practiced, the Northwest Vipassana Center, also known as Dhamma Kuñja (meaning Grove of Dhamma), is situated on 50 rural acres near the town of Onalaska, Washington, two hours south of Seattle, and 1.5 hours north of Portland, Oregon. The Center was established in August 1991 to offer training in Vipassana meditation. Ten-day courses are offered every month for new and returning students. Three-day and one-day courses are given for returning students from time to time, as well as programs for children. The Northwest Vipassana Center is administered by the Northwest Vipassana Association, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
